Remote Sensing & GIS Services

Alongside my research, I take on a small number of applied remote-sensing and geospatial projects for research groups, NGOs, and agribusinesses working in Nepal and the wider region. These are the same methods I use in my own work, described on the methods page.

What I Take On

Google Earth Engine Analysis

Cloud-based processing of Sentinel-2, Landsat, and MODIS archives: time-series composites, cloud masking, and reproducible scripts you keep and can re-run yourself after the project ends.

NDVI & Crop Health Monitoring

Vegetation indices (NDVI, NDWI, SAVI, GCI) tracked across a season to flag crop stress, compare plots or treatments, and support irrigation and fertiliser decisions.

Land-Cover Classification & Mapping

Supervised and unsupervised land-cover maps with an accuracy assessment, plus cartographic output suitable for reports, proposals, and publications.

Agricultural Data Analysis

Field-trial and survey data cleaned and analysed in R or Python, with the statistics, figures, and a written interpretation you can put straight into a report or manuscript.

How It Works

Tell me the question, the area, and the timeframe. I reply with what is feasible from available satellite data, what it will cost, and how long it will take — or say plainly if the data cannot answer your question. Every project hands back the underlying scripts and data, not just a PDF.

Availability

My primary commitment is research and MSc study, so I keep this work deliberately limited and will say so if I do not have capacity. If you are a prospective supervisor rather than a client, the research fit page is the more relevant one.
