- Validated 5,000+ geographic data points and corrected 300+ across 15+ regional datasets using Python-based GIS tools.

- Multi-temporal Sentinel-2 analysis in Google Earth Engine across 500+ hectares, computing NDVI, NDWI, SAVI, GCI and PSRI.
- Built a CNN crop disease detection system (TensorFlow, MobileNetV2) and contributed GPS-tagged field data to the Nepal Agricultural Disease Dataset.

Publications and certifications
Bishal Neupane has nine peer-reviewed articles published in 2026, each with him as corresponding author, in Tropical Agrobiodiversity, Tropical Agroecosystems, Big Data in Agriculture, i TECH MAG and Integrated Urban Food Systems, with three more papers in press at the Turkish Journal of Agriculture – Food Science and Technology.
